We have a great story to tell...

For more than 4 decades, the J & K Steamboat Company has been chartering passengers around Michigan's rivers and lakes. In 1976, John and Karla Chamberlain started a small canoe rental business in Lansing's Potter Park.

Celebrate on the River

The Grand Princess Riverboat offers a unique, elegant atmosphere and features graceful arched windows, beautiful wood trim, crystal chandeliers, dramatic staircases, and a spectacular view of the Grand River. The three-deck boat is fully heated and air-conditioned, has three separate dining rooms, two dance floors, an outer deck, and an atrium. The Princess can accommodate any size event ranging from 10 to 500 people.

You can say “I do” on the Grand Princess! Float down the Grand River while you celebrate your new marriage. Our boat provides elegant dining settings, exceptional service, and delicious catering options. Your family and friends will be talking about your special day for years to come!

Field Trips

There’s always something happening on the Grand Princess. We host themed parties and entertainment events throughout the year.
